Common Postgraduate Entrance Examination (CPET-2020)
Department of Higher Education, Odisha is going to conduct the Common Postgraduate Entrance Examination (CPET-2020) for PG admission in state universities and colleges across the state.
CPET 2020 Exam Dates Announced: The official notification for Odisha CPET 2020 has been released, and candidates can fill the application form from August 12 to 31, 2020. The entrance examination will be held from 30 September to 07 October 2020. Candidates have to keep in mind that the online application form has become available through the official website.

Application fees CPET-2020
- General Candidates: ₹ 500.00 for the first subject applied for (CAF) with ₹. 200
for each subsequent subject (CAF) (there will be no additional fee for subjects
sharing same entrance tests e.g. economics and applied economics) - SC/ST candidates: ₹300.00 for the first subject applied for (CAF) with ₹. 200 for
each subsequent subject (CAF) - The PwD (Persons with Disabilities) and TG (Third Gender / Transgender)
candidates are exempted from paying the CAF Fees.
*Higher Education Department has introduced “One Course One Fee” for CPET-2020 under
SAMS.
Qualification required for Odisha’s CPET-2020
- Must have Passed Graduation / Final Year/Semester Degree Examination 2020 can also apply.
Eligibility Criteria for Odisha CPET 2020
No relaxation of eligibility criteria will be given to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. However, a certain percentage of seats will be reserved for them, provided that they submit all the important documents required during the application process to apply for admission to the seats reserved for them in their required program.

About CPET-2020
Odisha CPET 2020 or the Odisha Common Postgraduate Entrance Test 2020 is a single platform for admission to postgraduate level programs offered by state universities and colleges in Odisha. Selection of candidates and allocation of seats for CPET 2020 will be done based on the merit of the candidates and their performance in the entrance examination. The first time that Odisha’s Higher Education Department is conducting a single entrance examination CEPT 2020 for all government-run colleges. Students who are waiting for their undergraduate results can appear for CPET-2020. However, they are required to submit their mark sheet online by 11.45 pm on 10th October.
