Development Manager

Position Name: Development Manager Group – Retail Agency Sales

Job Location Details: Multiple locations Pan India

Job Description:

  • Achieving unit business goals through quality recruitment and training of Insurance Advisors (IA)
  • Develop business segments as per company strategy with compliance
  • Business should be of very good quality and should not be detrimental to the interests of the Company.
  • To recruit team of Insurance Advisors of very high quality and standards as per the corporate strategy
  • To ensure and maintain levels of productivity as prescribed
  • To focus on and develop various business segments as per the sales strategy
  • To train IAs with the help of L&D team
  • To ensure that there are no unethical business practices by his / her Insurance Advisors
  • To ensure that there is no anti selection against the Company and that the Company is not put to any financial loss due to poor quality of selection of lives either directly or through his/her team of Insurance Advisors
  • To ensure high standard of quality of sales, very good quality of lives to be insured and very good quality of Insurance Advisors
  • Adherence to Sales Quality policy of the company. The UM is responsible for the Quality of business sourced by his team as defined in the Sales Quality Policy, as amended from time to time.
  • Graduate with minimum 1 year of sales experience, Experience in life insurance industry preferred.

Experience: 1 year +

Skills: Sound Knowledge of IRDA regulations/ Strong Communication and Sales Skill

Branch Manager

Position Name: Branch Manager Group

Job Location Details: Pan India

Job Description:

  • Achieve the new business premium targets and renewal premium targets of the branch
  • Maintain a High IA Activation standard, IA Productivity and UM productivity
  • Reduction in Zero- business IAs and termination on account of MBG norms.
  • Ensure cost effectiveness and encourage cost consciousness at all levels.
  • Inculcate a habit of timely submission of bills/ documents/ papers/ data among the team members.
  • Ensure effective and need based training exposure to UMs and IAs
  • Create and Nurture a customer centric environment by conducting customer meets and organizing customer service camps at periodic intervals- share the minutes with senior regional functionaries
  • Reduce customer complaints of Misselling and take effective steps to prevent circulation of unauthorized publicity materials. Take proactive measures to rectify irregularities pointed out by the audit team
  • Knowledge of IRDA regulations, Good team building and leadership skills
  • Leading the team of Development Manager
  • Individual specific goals should be known to UMs, will check turn over to achieve branch business goals.
  • Act as a profit centre head to develop quality business based on various parameters
  • To ensure administrative and financial discipline

Business Development

Position Name: Business Development Group – Bancassurance

Job Location Details: Pan India

Job Description:

  • Achieving sales targets
  • Increase in number of CIFs / active branches
  • Training CIFs, encouraging SBI staff to become CIF
  • Arranging training programs for CIFs on products and selling skills
  • Increasing productivity of CIFs
  • Achievement of sales target
  • Relationship Management at Regional/Branch level
